Diana Sorić Životopis

Izv. prof. dr. sc. Diana Sorić rođena je 1973. godine u Zadru. Diplomirala je Klasičnu filologiju i Talijanski jezik i književnost na Filozofskom fakultetu u Zadru, Sveučilišta u Splitu. Doktorski je rad pod naslovom "Obiteljska korespondencija Antuna Vrančića: kritičko izdanje rukopisa i jezično-stilske osobitosti obranila 2013. godine. Od 2003. asistentica je na Odjelu za klasičnu filologiju, a od 2021. izvanredna profesorica. Autorica je i koautorica znanstvenih i stručnih radova objavljenih u časopisima i zbornicima radova (dostupno na: https://www.croris.hr/osobe/profil/4802). Bila je predsjednica Međunarodnoga znanstvenog skupa "Natales grate numeras?ˮ, koji se organizirao povodom 60. godišnjice osnutka Odjelu za klasičnu filologiju te članica organizacijskog odbora znanstvenog skupa Preko i njegovo područje (2020.). Jedna je od urednica Zbornika sa Međunarodnog znanstvenog skupa "Natales grate numeras?ˮ. Sudjelovala je na više domaćih i međunarodnih znanstvenih skupova. Od 2023. godine predsjednica je Udruge za očuvanje kulturne baštine "Priješka Luzarica".

Associate Professor Diana Sorić, Ph.D. was born in 1973, in Zadar. She graduated in Classical Studies and Italian language and literature at the Faculty of Zadar, University of Split. In 2013 she received her PhD in Latin Philology from University of Zadar with a thesis titled Family Correspondence of Antun Vrančić: a Critical Edition of the Manuscripts and Features of Linguistic Style. Since 2003, she has been an assistant at the Department of Classical Philology, University of Zadar, where she was promoted to Associate Professor in 2021. She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific and professional papers published in reputable journals and conference proceedings. (available at: https://www.croris.hr/osobe/profil/4802). She has actively participated in several national and international scientific conferences. Her notable contributions include organizing the International Scientific Conference "Natales grate numeras?" held on the 60th anniversary of the Department of Classical Philology, as well as serving as one of the editors of the conference proceedings. Additionally, she was a member of the organizing committee for the scientific conference "Preko i njegovo područje" (2020). Since 2023, she has been the president of the Association for the preservation of cultural heritage "Priješka Luzarica".
